Why clean gutters in Central Florida?

Afternoon storms dump a lot of water fast. Gutters packed with leaves, pine needles and roof grit overflow, spill over the fascia and pour next to the foundation, and standing debris holds moisture that feeds growth on the roof edge.

What is a gutter clean-out?

We clear the debris out of the gutters by hand and blower, check that the downspouts are draining, and clean up what falls. If we see a loose bracket or a leaking seam, we point it out.

What are the black stripes on the outside of my gutters?

Those dark “tiger stripes” on the face of gutters are a mix of grime and growth. The Full Club ($171 a month for homes up to 1,999 sq ft) includes cleaning the gutter exteriors on every quarterly visit, so they stay bright along with the house.

Common questions

How often should gutters be cleaned?

It depends on the trees around the house. Homes under oaks and pines may need it several times a year; homes with few trees, less often. We will tell you what we see.

Is gutter cleaning included in a plan?

Gutter exteriors are cleaned on every Full Club visit. A full clean-out is an add-on for any member, at your plan discount.

Do you install gutter guards?

No. We clean gutters; we do not install or repair them.

Do I need to be home?

Usually not, as long as we can reach the outside of the house safely. We will confirm when we schedule.
